The Carbon Stocks Report allows you to visualise the approximate carbon stocks of your soil at a glance, on a heat map of your vineyard.
To view your carbon stocks, you’ll need to record soil organic carbon and bulk density readings for your soil in Sectormentor. Together, these two tests contribute to an automatic calculation of your carbon stocks, block by block.
Your results can be viewed on an interactive map of your blocks, showing the carbon tonnes per hectare stored in each field.
In order to view your results on this map, you’ll need to upload your block boundaries to Sectormentor – get in touch with us for questions on this!
You don’t need to upload your field boundaries to view the Carbon Stocks Report – your results will also be visible in a table like the one below.
